For more than two centuries traditional melodies played on the Northumbrian Smallpipes have been used to greet the wedding couple and their guests at marriage ceremonies throughout Northumberland. The unique charm and distinctive sound of the pipes offer a welcome that is unusual and a little special for the occasion.
